Hey everyone, I have a 2024 Kia EV9 that was shipped overseas from the US, and I’m trying to understand whether updating the car is worth it.
From what I understand, I can only update it manually by downloading the update files to a USB drive and installing them that way?
Also, for those who already updated:
Did the update improve anything noticeable?
Any issues after updating?
I keep seeing complaints about wireless CarPlay connection problems, infotainment crashes/freezes, or new bugs appearing after updates. How common is that really?
My car is currently working fine, so I’m wondering if it’s better to leave it as-is or keep it updated.
Would appreciate hearing real experiences from other EV9 owners.

My Kia EV9 GT-Line finally arrived from the US, but now I need a front license plate bracket for EU/Korean/Armenian size plates (520x110). The US OEM bracket part number is 86519-DO620, but it’s made for US plates and already left holes in the bumper. Where can I find an OEM EU/Korea bracket or a clean fitting adapter for the EV9?
