For anybody living at Pheasant Run, or anywhere in Blacksburg that has their trash picked up by Meridian Waste, call them and let them know how awful they are for purposely deciding to run over a turtle crossing the road past the roundabout instead of waiting an extra minute for it to pass, or helping it. It is a pretty sizable turtle that cannot be missed no matter how big of a truck you are sitting in. It is very easily avoidable, when you are in a residential neighborhood with barely anybody residing there currently. This is not a case of unavoidably hitting an animal on the highway
