im tired of people pretending shah wasn't a communist or socialist at least

when you consider what communism is in actual text instead of inferring it from places like the Soviet Union shah was SOOOOO much of a communist and an anti-capitalist

lets start with the basics. most corporations and manufacturers WERE government owned, the factory workers got shares in the factory they were working in, most banks were government owned, insurance was government owned,we had both socialised healthcare and free education, there were GOVERNMENT ENFORCED prices on anything you would buy

these ARE socialist at least and communist at most policies

i dont get why people keep saying shah was somehow very pro capitalism or right leaning

the general anti private ownership stance shah had goes against all of it

tbh im scared the prince's new association with the overly capitalism supporting stance of American politicians might mean we wont get policies like that back after the revolution

idk if i have somehow lost my mind or people are just not politically educated
