Can anyone help identify this Number (N)ine T-shirt?
It has an old Number (N)ine size 3 tag, but I haven’t been able to find any archive references, catalog scans, runway photos, or past sales matching this exact graphic.
The print reads:
“VANDALISM BEAUTIFUL AS A ROCK IN A COP’S FACE”
I know the phrase is associated with the punk band Feederz, but I’m trying to determine whether this was an actual Number (N)ine release from the Takahiro Miyashita era, or if it’s a later custom or bootleg print on a genuine Number (N)ine blank.
Has anyone seen this design before or owns one with matching tags and care labels?

I’m considering buying a pair of Undercover AW02 “Witches Cell Division” velvet denim and would appreciate a legit check.

At first glance, everything looks fine to me, but I’d like opinions from people more familiar with early 2000s Undercover pieces, especially regarding construction details and authenticity indicators.

Any red flags or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Picked up a pretty unusual 2002SS “MODERN AGE” grunge knit.

Black/white border base, but the entire piece has a heavy black distressed/coated treatment over it. It also feels noticeably heavier than expected.

Seller claims it was purchased new back in the day and that the black treatment is original factory processing.

I’ve personally never seen another one like this.
Do you guys think this was an original variation/process, or could it be a later custom treatment?

I have a NUMBER (N)INE balloon knit cap.

I got it from an online marketplace a few years ago.

Inside, there are no size or wash tags, which made me a bit unsure about it.

I also checked several recent listings for the same item on another marketplace, and most of them seem to have size tags attached, so I wanted to ask for a legit check here.

I’ve been considering listing these Number (N)ine Modern Age artisan distressed jeans internationally, but interestingly I almost never see this pair come up on Grailed or discussed much outside Japan.
In Japan, they’re considered one of the standout Modern Age denim pieces, and I’ve seen archive stores price them surprisingly high.
Curious how the overseas archive community values these today — what would you realistically expect this pair to sell for on the international market or Grailed?

I’ve been researching UNDERCOVER AW2002 “Witches Cell Division” for over 20 years, and there’s one piece I’ve never been able to track down.

Back in 2002, I saw a pair of red/black tartan check pants in a Japanese magazine (with a listed retail price, so I’m confident they were actually released). The silhouette was slightly loose, with a fine check pattern and no obvious reconstruction details.

The strange thing is:

• I’ve been actively searching the secondary market for over two decades

• I’ve seen various AW02 pants (hybrids, velour, crash denim, cargo, etc.)

• I’ve also seen red check shirts/jackets from the same era

But I have NEVER seen this specific pair of check pants show up for sale, archive pages, or even documented clearly anywhere.

For reference, other AW02 pants do surface occasionally (hybrid pants, velour, etc.), so it’s not like pants from this collection don’t exist on the market (Grailed).

My current theories:

1. Extremely limited production (maybe very few units per store)

2. Worn heavily and didn’t survive (since they’re relatively “normal” pants)

3. Possibly overlooked and sold without being recognized over the years

4. Less likely, but maybe partially cancelled or very limited distribution

Has anyone here ever:

• Seen this specific red/black check pair in person?

• Owned it or come across it in the past?

• Seen any documentation, lookbook, or archive reference?

At this point I’m trying to confirm whether this piece is just ultra-obscure, or if it’s something that effectively disappeared from the archive.

Looks early 2000s to me, maybe SCAB-era adjacent, but I’m not completely sure if it’s original or some later reproduction.
The aging, print cracking, and fabric feel pretty natural in hand.
Any info, dating help, or legit check opinions would be appreciated.

the small tag next to the Undercoverism tag looks like an “S” (or maybe a 2?)

wash tag says size 6

size tab is attached horizontally instead of vertically

Buttons and distressing look decent to me, but the tag inconsistency feels strange.
