Artlist appears to have quietly removed Seedance 2.5 Unlimited after heavily promoting it
Artlist had been heavily advertising “Seedance 2.5 Unlimited for a full year” across its website, Help Center, and social channels.
Now, that Unlimited benefit appears to have been removed or changed to a credit-based offering.
What makes this worse is the way it seems to have happened:
- No clear public announcement
- No obvious warning that the offer was ending
- No transparent explanation of what changed
- Promotional posts/videos mentioning the Unlimited offer now appear to be disappearing or being removed
- Some official Artlist pages have continued to show conflicting information about whether Seedance 2.5 is Unlimited
That is a huge issue because:
“Unlimited Seedance 2.5 for a full year”
and
“Seedance 2.5 consumes credits”
are completely different products from a pricing and value perspective.
People may have been considering or purchasing annual plans specifically because Unlimited Seedance 2.5 was being presented as a major benefit.
If Artlist decided to end the offer, that is their decision.
But quietly changing the product while removing promotional material instead of clearly announcing the change is not transparent business practice.
So if you're considering an Artlist AI subscription because you saw the Seedance 2.5 Unlimited promotion:
Check the current terms very carefully before paying, and screenshot what is being promised.
Would be useful to hear from existing subscribers:
Does anyone who purchased during the Unlimited promotion still have Seedance 2.5 Unlimited?
