Could someone school me on this antique robe. I believe it has 5 claws on the dragon? And some pretty unique embroidery on the back of the arms. I’d like to know an approximate valuation if possible too. Thanks in advance!

Am I wrong in thinking this is a viola based on the length.

Hello, very inexperienced in instruments but I came across this rudolf Buchner (viola?) and am stumped with figuring out what it is and what it’s actually worth. Any input is greatly appreciated
