Chin cogs attempt #2

so… tried cogs under chin for the second time last night. it went better than the first time - cogs attached properly and I expect recovery to be much easier. my first time I had a painful end that did not attach and took months to settle.

yesterday was try #2.
i love how the cogs worked on the sides but… the two sides are not even - I knew they were not going to be as I felt I pushed the cannula deeper on one side than the other but I couldn’t reverse as only half of the thread is inside the cannula and the other already in my tissue… problem #2 cogs did not catch the center of my flab even though I pushed it to the center.. that’s the most frustrating part for me. now thinking about it I think that’s because the end of the cannula does not have thread, it starts a few mm after… i should have inserted past the center so that thread attached to the center flab… so not super happy with myself lol but I learned a lot and will try again maybe in 6-9 months.

Chin tox method

Has anyone used the method described in this study to inject their mentalis? https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10520866/

I injected my chin once before but I didn’t like how it looked - thinking about trying their method. my main concern is the mental crease which worsens after I inject my DAOs. I want to try treating them together. Advice/experiences appreciated

so I have a recessed chin… before you jump there - no, I’m not getting jaw surgery or a chin implant. looking for Diy at home solutions. I do have a genetic double chin which I’ve worked on for a long time and it’s a lot better, but still a work in progress - I got some things planned there.

Now I am thinking if a little bit of chin filler would help. maybe at the bottom? I don’t know that I want projection, might look weird with my jaw position. thank you for your suggestions!
