We’ve finally had our first taste of the cold here in northwest Florida! I am loving every second of it, of course, but December has grown up and slimmed down even more over the summer so she doesn’t have the meat on her bones to keep her warm that I do 😂
It can be hard to think of getting a winter coat when the weather is still mild, but even in Florida we have our frigid days so I picked a jacket I know she will love, and some warm socks because she will definitely need them when it’s not sandal weather anymore:

Can’t thank you enough u/small-p0tat0es! ❤️ my husband and I were able to go out together yesterday and it was amazing to just relax and enjoy each other’s company along with some good food 😊
We were stuffed so we took the dessert home to eat later and it was SO good. (The tiramisu was my pick 😆 my husband is a cheesecake lover.)
December had a fantastic 7th birthday yesterday! She kept saying it was the best day over and over 🥹

u/Topcat30: Thank you for EVERYTHING. The piñata was a huge hit. She was originally disappointed because she didn’t think we could get one but then being able to surprise her after school was the best feeling! The hair accessories and gummy worms were her favorite parts.
Then she was able to help daddy put her dream vanity together which was the cherry on top of her perfect day. December loves building stuff with her dad 💕 it took them a long time but it was worth it! It fits in her room like it was made for it. She even got up early this morning to play on it.
I am truly so grateful to all of you for making these special moments possible. It warms my heart to see my girl so happy! 😊

Time is flying by so fast for us this year, I can hardly believe December’s birthday is less than two weeks away! She turns 7 on September 4th, and is super excited that she managed to lose both her front teeth before her birthday 😂
She’s still very much my little princess who loves pink and unicorns but she’s also starting to act more grown up, wanting to fix her hair certain ways and paying more attention to her outfits and “style”. More than anything, though, I am extremely proud of the sweet, kind girl she’s becoming. 💕

We ended up using the gift card for our anniversary yesterday. With prices being what they are now we don’t get to go as much as we used to so it was the perfect way to celebrate being married 10 years 😊

We finally had the chance to go today and December had a blast feeding the animals and getting up close with the giraffes. We finished it off with some Dippin Dots and a pink giraffe stuffy from the gift shop. It was a day to remember for sure 😄
