[Amazon] Has anyone received an SDE-1 offer through AUTA India recently (since June)?

Hey everyone,

I wanted to check if anyone here has received an offer letter or selection confirmation for the SDE-1 role through AUTA (Amazon University Talent Acquisition) in India recently, specifically from June onwards?

If you or someone you know got an offer or a positive update lately, could you please share a bit about the timeline?

  • Final Rounds: When did the final interviews take place?
  • Wait Time: How long did it take to hear back with the final result?
  • Onboarding: Were any tentative joining dates mentioned?

Just trying to get a sense of whether they are actively rolling out offers right now or if things are currently delayed. Any insights into the current AUTA hiring timeline would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone,

I recently applied for a role at Qualcomm and was really happy to get an interview call. However, after going through the job description more thoroughly, I realized two things: the day-to-day of the role just didn't sound like something I'd enjoy, and as a software engineer, I don't actually have any previous working experience in that specific domain.

Instead of wasting the interviewers' time, I emailed the HR contact right away to explain the situation and politely bow out. I also went ahead and officially canceled the upcoming interview on the job portal.

This happened about three weeks ago. Since then, it's been complete radio silence and I haven't gotten any bites on other Qualcomm applications.

Did I shoot myself in the foot here? Does anyone know if Qualcomm blacklists candidates for canceling interviews like this, or is three weeks just the normal waiting game for other roles? Would love to hear if anyone has insight into how their recruiters or ATS handle this.

Thanks in advance!
