Hi, this sub was recommended to me while I try to get in contact with a rehabber. Please help me help this little fellow. I thought he was dead when I found him, but I prodded him with a stick and he fell over but moved his feet a little bit. We wrapped him in a shirt and took him home. He started opening his eyes and tried to move around a bit on the drive home, but I couldn’t let him out of the shirt because my dog was in the car and oblivious to his presence lol. He’s in a tall box now with a heat mat on one side for warmth. Now he seems more lethargic again. He hasn’t moved at all since I’ve placed him in the box, but he does open his eyes. There’s only one rehabber I was able to find thus far within a 2hr distance that was open on weekends, they didn’t answer so I left a voicemail.

Update: He’s becoming much more active now. I can hear him rustling around in the box and faint chirping. Took some poops too, so I laid some clean paper towels down over the soiled ones to avoid handling him too much. Trying not to get my hopes up but he seems to have regained some strength.

Update 2: He’s in a rehab facility now!
