M29 Bay Area - May 19 till May 22

29M visiting the Bay Area on vacation. I'm here with a friend, but unfortunately, he got sick yesterday and is stuck in bed resting.
I've already rented a car for the week and I really want to make the most of my time here. I was wondering if anyone would be down to go on some day trips! I'm more than happy to provide the car and cover all the gas.
I’m totally open to whatever, whether you're a local who wants to show me around your favorite spots, or someone who hasn't really explored the area much and just wants to wander around and discover new places together.

Not a dating post, I promise! 😂 I'm just genuinely looking for some good company so I don't have to hit the road alone.
I'll be around until the weekend. Shoot me a DM or leave a comment if you're interested in going on a little road trip adventure!

Visiting Stanford for a week, parking advice?

Hey everyone, I’m visiting a friend who lives on campus and I’m renting a car for ~7 days starting tomorrow.
I saw that visitor parking is around $35/day, which adds up pretty quickly. What do people usually do for longer visits?

Any recommendations for cheaper parking, evening/weekend parking, nearby streets, or general tips to avoid getting ticketed?

Thanks!
