I have a ten year old Denon AVR-X4200W home theater receiver that connects about 7 inputs and sends video via hdmi to my Samsung smart tv and sends audio to a 5.1 speaker setup to Paradigm in-wall fronts and rears and a subwoofer. It takes 3 or 4 tries to switch hdmi inputs successfully using the remote, so I am thinking relays are in the process of failing. Is it worth it to spend a couple grand buying a new receiver to fix this problem? Is it a common Denon problem? I might upgrade by adding 2 atmos speakers.
