Taste of Arvada is coming up next Thursday, July 9, with more than 50 unique samples from Arvada-area restaurants, bakeries, distilleries, craft breweries, and bars. This year’s Taste will also feature live music (Ninety Percent 90s) and artisan booths in an outdoor setting. This event has sold out the last eight years and tickets will not be available at the door. Tickets are just $40 ($20 for kids 3-12) and includes ALL food and drink samples. Child watch is also an option through Apex. Learn more at www.arvadachamber.org/taste.

On behalf of the Arvada High School Table Leadership Cohort, I am extending an invitation to join a community potluck dinner this Thursday. Kokoro is very graciously providing some appetizers and AHS will have a taco potluck otherwise. The idea of this event is very simple: bring together community members from different backgrounds and roles to break bread at one very long table.
