I’m 28, pretty healthy individual and was optimistic going into the process everything was looking great no underlying issues. Was excited to probably be one cycle and done. AFC was 18, throughout the process they counted 12, were only able to retrieve 10 and only 5 were mature. I’m disappointed and shocked at how low the result is, given I know people who are older / had more success in this process despite that. Dr said it probably was just a bad batch of eggs and that he can’t really guarantee a much better outcome if I decided to do one more round. Feel like what happened to me is pretty rare and generally just feeling confused..
