Had a few hours before work to make some progress.
Lifting up the front wall alone was a bitch. 3 walls up, 1 to go.
Finished assembling the front wall and somehow the top of the wall is a quarter inch wider than the bottom. Send it?
I want to build a shed like this but want to add transom windows above the door. I’ll also get rid of the larger window and have a centered double door instead. Do I need a header above the transom windows?
I’m replacing our flooring. The flooring that came installed in the house didn’t last more that 2 years before it started cracking and opening apart which is not surprising because they put cheap thin vinyl planks on uneven and unprepared surface covered in staples, nails, and screws sticking out. I cleaned it all up and installed 3/4” t&g plywood with liquid nail and a shitload of screws to even out the subfloor and eliminate some areas that squeak. I left expansion gaps around the edges but I would like to fill them with something to keep bugs and rodents out. I’m considering using spray foam. Is there a better way? I’m almost done installing flooring but want to seal the gaps before I install molding.
