I believe this is an eastern tiger swallowtail, please chime in if you know for certain!

Not sure what had their attention in the dirt, but they let me get so close ✨ I think this might be a female? Also, my apologies I couldn’t create a more steady video, but I was squatting down on a hill and trying not to fall 😅

I just discovered the Chinese Tea Garden in Portland, OR!

It’s my last day in downtown Portland and I am so happy I found this place. It’s beautiful, and the tea is incredible!

Edit to add: This is the Honey Orchid Oolong, known in China as Mi Lan Xiang, is a highly aromatic Phoenix Dan Cong tea from Guangdong’s Phoenix Mountains.

Has anyone else in this sub been here before?

Visiting the Portland Rose Garden - WOW!

I wish I could share smells with you through this app. The dark magenta roses at the end were worthy of a picture just to remember their fragrance. Please visit this place in Portland OR if you get the chance—it is free admission too!

Send TSA Help

If anyone has connections with TSA, I would love to know what the heck is going on this morning. I fly out of ATL, Nashville, and Chattanooga often—walked in at 5am and have never seen it this crowded. The line isn’t moving. Only one scanning machine is active. I bet half of the people in line will miss our flights this morning… if you are leaving on a flight today, get here early just in case this is an all-day mess.

The first time seeing a Mourning Cloak butterfly

I could not believe how much the tips of the wings look like they were dipped in gold! They shimmered in the sun with every movement ✨
