Chest lift form

I’ve done Pilates for a few years and yoga for over a decade. I have always been taught when doing chest lifts to leave an apple/orange sized space under your chin instead of crunching your neck forward. But in a class yesterday, the instructor wanted us to tuck our chins all the way down as far as we could when doing our chest lifts. That felt wrong for me, both in terms of being physically uncomfortable and going against what I’ve always been taught. Am I misguided here, or is that improper form?

What to expect on immunosuppressants?

I’m starting new meds soon and am trying to figure out what that “new normal” will be. Obviously I’ll need to take extra precautions about getting sick, and I plan to do everything I can. I’m just trying to figure out what that looks like on a practical level. I’m hoping the new meds can help with my fatigue—I’ve always loved workout classes like yoga and Pilates and I want to get back to going every so often if I’m able to, but I’m wondering if I’d need to mask up even in small workout classes? It’d be annoying but I absolutely will if I need to. I plan to talk through everything with my doctor of course, but I’m looking to see what people’s personal experiences have been!
