This may be better suited to r/sewing, but I’m having trouble with this pattern. I’m using J.P. Ryan’s Short Coat pattern and I just cannot get it to fit properly. There are meant to be two more side pleats, but I’m not sure where I’m supposed to get that fabric from. I do think the waist should be more fitted, but that would go against what the pattern dictates. I think it’s pulling a lot at the bust. Maybe I just have to try it on over the undergarments and that’ll be better? Any advice is appreciated!
