My thoughts on the Ramayana trailer after seeing it in Real3d
Just saw the Ramayana trailer on the big screen(it was attached to BND), and honestly, it looked absolutely beautiful. The CGI and VFX are genuinely mindblowing. The only part that looked bad to me was Lord Ram shooting the rakshas and Kumbhakaran, but apart from that, everything else looked incredible. I honestly have no idea why anyone says otherwise.
Comparing the BND with Ramayana trailer, the trailer has much better CGI than BND. In BND, a lot of the VFX looked unfinished, lacked depth in several scenes, and honestly felt more like video game. To me Ramayana’s CGI stands out as leagues ahead.
Edit: What made BND a good and wholesome movie(despite the bad CGI) was the solid script, fun swinging sequences (giving major Amazing Spiderman vibes), and Sadie Sink.
