I am not really sure how to crate train better. I have a 10 week old Bernese and he is really struggling with his crate. He sleeps like a baby in there at night but any other time he freaks out when he goes in there. I can’t reward him for being calm in the crate because if I put a treat through he is so wired up he won’t eat it or accept it as a reward. I don’t even necessarily leave when I put him in there either. Even if he is tired during the day he does not like going in. I am in an apartment too so I feel bad just letting him whine for 20 minutes ( he is not quiet lol). I also have a play pen and say I go in the other room to shower he does just as bad with that so not sure what to do at this point.

I am getting a Bernese puppy soon. Have done a decent amount of research into pet insurance. Numbers I am looking for are 10k annual, 90% reimbursement, 250$ premium. Any recommendations on companies? I am leaning towards lemonade atm but am open to recommendations.
