3 Months after ditching SlopOS
After 3 months of making the full switch, dropping dual boot and just going flat out with CahcyOS quality of my PC time increased 10 fold. I love my PC again. I had 0 issues switching from one ecosystem to another. Never experienced a crash and my pc is on like 20/7. I am an update guy, so far had only positives out of the rolling updates. My motherboard ethernet port was not working at first, as I was unlucky enough to have some specific series of a port that was broken in Linux's world, I had to use proprietary usb to ethernet converter.. IT GOT FIXED IN A MONTH IN A RANDOM UPDATE (well to me seemed random). Now again using the MB eth port. Out of all software from Windows the only thing I had hard time replacing was Ableton, went with Bitwig boy was I amazed. Snappiness of Cachy is unmatched. At first I was sceptic about using konsole for everything, but damn is it transparent.. IT SHOWS EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE WAITING FOR. Shows exactly what it changes and what it does. No bull**t placeholder text "preparing files...". If something breaks, it write exactly what and why (happened few times my auto updater wouldn't finish because some dependency was breaking another dependecy, waited few hours tried again and it just goes through).
GAMING! Counter-Strike 2 FLAWLESS performance, heck even smoother. World of Warcraft fluid. 165 hz and 280hz monitors working without any issues.
It simply is THE OS to go to.
