No title because I can literally not think of any other details, like the characters other than this specific scene and it’s driving me CRAZY!!
let me lay it all out, it’s a historical romance, I think the fl is a villainess but not for sure (again can barely remember anything:<)
the female lead is targeted by the jealous female antagonist during the hunting contest arc, the antagonist gets to her using a female side character who previously pretended to be her friend, her “friend” leads her deep into the forest, the antagonist and the side character then go on to try and kill her, she escapes using the rivers that connect somehow? and then the male lead (who doesn’t know any of this is happening) rests near a lake while the hunting contest is still going on and sees a broach or something he remembers her wearing floating on the surface. He then freaks out obviously and goes looking for her (she survives) and points out the antagonist and side character as the ones who tried to kill her.
also, I don’t know for sure but I remember there being something about the forest shifting and that’s why the rivers connect?
