MBBS Prof Exams: Do Examiners Give Marks for Attempted Answers?

do examiners give marks just for attempting a question, or does the answer have to be relevant to the question asked?

:
What are the common reasons 1st-year students fail? Is it mainly because they leave questions unanswered, or can someone fail even after attempting most of the paper?
How important is paper presentation (headings, underlining, diagrams, labelling, etc.)?
If an answer is partially correct, do examiners usually award marks for the correct points?
What about an answer that is attempted but completely wrong — can it still get 0, or is there sometimes a minimum mark for attempting?
If you write something relevant but miss some important points, how much partial credit can you generally expect?
For SAQs/LAQs, is it possible to get a few marks even if the overall answer isn't fully correct?

Does anyone else want to go back to before March 10, 2026?
I miss when ENHYPEN was at their peak. I miss the XO intro, waiting for EN-Drama episodes, EN-O'CLOCK episodes & the Coachella performance, and getting excited for every update.
I never thought I'd miss the past this much just because of them.
Please, ENHYPEN... come back to normal.

Enough is enough. Leave Ni-ki alone.
Calling a 21-year-old a murderer, demanding he apologize for something he didn't tell anyone to do, and trying to force him out of the group is beyond cruel. Since when did expressing your own discomfort and setting personal boundaries become a crime?
Hold the people who chose to harass someone accountable—not the person who simply expressed how he felt. Stop twisting his words to fit your narrative.
If your response to one tragedy is to create another target, you've learned nothing. This isn't justice. It's another hate campaign.
Mind your own business, stop spreading hate, and leave Ni-ki alone. No one deserves to be treated like this.

No matter what happens in this fandom, people should never bully or harass someone to the point where they feel driven to end their life.
If the reports about Mina are true, this is absolutely heartbreaking. She was simply fangirling, and even after she apologized, the hate reportedly continued. Why do people do this? Is someone's life really a joke to you?
And please, stop blaming Ni-ki. He does not deserve this hate. Everyone has the right to express what they're comfortable or uncomfortable with. Twisting his words and using this tragedy to attack him is wrong.
K-pop is something we love, but no fandom issue is ever worth destroying a person's life. Before commenting or sending hate, remember that there is a real human being on the other side of the screen.
Please choose kindness. Life is far more important than any fan war.
I'm a first-year MBBS student, and my finals are very close. I have to admit that I barely opened my textbooks, and now I'm starting almost from scratch. I'm planning to focus mainly on previous year questions (PYQs) because I don't have enough time to cover everything.
To the seniors—has anyone been in a similar situation and still managed to pass? What should I prioritize in these last few days? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
