Rainbow one is full colour MJF nylon, as is the blue one. Blue is not a perfect match for the silver blue watch but it’s close
Transparent one is resin. Hot pink, orange and black are SLS nylon
All (except the resin one) will be available soon to buy on Thangs. I couldn’t resist sharing them now though
Any ideas/requests for other full colour patterns/styles?
I just received a new set of prototype case designs and I’d like your opinions.
They are all designed for SLS/MJF and are printed using nylon 12.
Which one(s) do you think I should get made as the next batch & make available for sale? Or should I publish all of them?
(In SLS nylon they can be made in other colours than black.)
Styles are:
Minimalist bumper with bars at the back to stop the case coming off accidentally. This is almost the same as the bumper I’ve already published on Thangs
Slightly wider clip-on bumper which gives the buttons a bit of knock protection
Same as 2 with bezel coverage.
Same as 2 with full side coverage
Watchfaces are Phoenix Big and Monologue, both available on the Rebble AppStore
My first batch of PT2 bumpers arrived and I’m happy enough with them to put them up for sale. There’s only a handful in stock on my website (more will be arriving in the next couple of weeks), but you can also order via print on demand on Thangs (or download the file to print locally). The file is designed for SLS or MJF printing not FDM. Any and all feedback welcome, and I’ll continue to improve the design based on that feedback.
