First day is in three weeks (can you believe it?!). I would love a classroom pencil system that WORKS. I have spent the last two years buying my pencils for my classroom, as many teachers do. The problem is, I can’t afford that!

I have tried the trade system, where students give me something small of theirs (AirPod, keys etc.) in exchange for a pencil, and they get their item back upon return. That had come with some annoying issues that I rather avoid this year, so I’m looking for something different. I teach English, which means we do write a lot (making everything digital isn’t an option)!

Does anyone have a SIMPLE pencil system that is low prep on the teacher’s end and easy for students to follow for their high school classrooms? Any tips and tricks would also be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
