Breast Aug at ARC Plastic Surgery (Before and After)

* Doctor Name: Dr. Yoon Tae Geun
* Clinic Name: ARC Plastic Surgery
* Procedure: Breast Augmentation
* Price Paid: ₩3,800,000
* Date of Visit / Procedure: May, 2026

I am about 3 months post-op from a breast augmentation with Dr. Yoon Tae Geun.
Although I received a promotional discount for the procedure, this review is based on my own experience and honest impressions. (seriously)

My chest was always one of my biggest insecurities growing up. They were wide set, very small, lopsided, and unfeminine. I considered breast augmentation for years and had many consultations, but was always too nervous to commit to a surgery.

I deliberated and researched a lot- until I found Dr. Yoon and ARC. He carefully and respectfully listened to my goals, concerns and expectations. He considered my body proportions and natural frame, and tailored the implant size, profile and placement to my body. I appreciated how honest and conservative his recommendations were because it made me feel like he truly cared about creating the best result for my body rather than following trends or promising unrealistic results.

The surgery itself went smoothly and recovery was a breeze. My friends couldn’t believe I had just had surgery because of how much energy and mobility I had only a few days post-op. (but of course, this varies by person)

The post-op care I’ve received has been exceptional as well. They’ve provided clear instructions, follow-up appointments, guidance for swelling reduction, scar care, healing, etc. I’ve never felt like I was on my own after surgery. I had an ultrasound checkup with them in June, and will have another checkup next month too!

Now that I’ve healed more, I’m honestly in awe of my own body. Haha. It’s everything I hoped for and even better. I finally feel like I have the body I’ve always dreamed of. :,)

Although I had a very positive and easy experience, breast augmentation is a serious surgery. I recommend women who are struggling with body confidence and considering breast surgery to visit and have a consultation with Dr. Yoon to see if surgery is truly right for them. :)

Filing Taxes in the US

Hi, all. I’ve searched around a lot but am not really getting any clear answers.

The deadline to file taxes for Americans living abroad is in June.

As you all know, the pay here for teaching English is relatively low and given this is my only source of income, I would expect this process to be pretty straightforward. But H&R Block and other services request huge fees for international filing.

My question is, how do you guys file your taxes? Do you know of any way to do it for free or at a reasonable price?

Thank you! :)

Hi everyone, I could really use some life advice and insight as I’m trying to decide whether to leave South Korea for Italy.

I’m a 28-year-old American currently living in Seoul, working as an ESL instructor, with a background in marketing. I teach adults and overall, my life here is… objectively good. My job is stable, I have my own apartment, my schedule is manageable, and I save money every month. I can support myself, have a visa, and I know how to navigate daily life here. I also speak Korean, and I’ve been here long enough (4 years) that things don’t feel overwhelming anymore.

But at the same time, I feel kind of…lost? drained?

It’s like my life is “fine” on paper, but something is missing. I don’t feel confident about my future, and I struggle to picture myself building a long-term life here.

The winters are harsh, air pollution is bad, nature is lackluster, commutes are monotonous and depressing, things here are very surface level, the currency is weak, and my job is repetitive and boring.

I’ve been thinking a lot about leaving, possibly going to Italy for an Italian language program and trying to build a life there instead. The idea feels exciting on paper, but it also feels risky and uncertain.

My concerns:

Giving up a stable job and life in Korea

Not knowing how I’d support myself long-term in Italy

Starting over completely (again)

The possibility that I’m romanticizing a different life and will feel the same way there

So I guess my question is (feel free to answer whichever speaks to you):

What would you recommend? Is there anything I should know about Italy that may change my thought?

Have any of you been in a situation where your life was comfortable but didn’t feel right long-term? Did you stay and make it work, or leave and take the risk?

And more specifically, if anyone has experience moving from a stable life to something more uncertain in Italy (or elsewhere), I’d really love to hear your perspective.

Any advice or personal experiences would really mean a lot. Thank you.
