I have literally been sitting in traffic at a complete stop trying to get off Treasure Island for 90 mins and counting. Granted it’s 4th of July and every one thought it would be a great place to see fireworks, it’s not. However, I live here and this summer it’s been one event after another. Not sure who is granting permits for constant weekend events at Gold Bar but it needs to be addressed especially since they still haven’t completed construction on the original ramp leaving us with ONLY on exit. If a car stalls on the hill we are all stuck!!

Interestingly, England's u20 squad includes Stanford junior RESERVE GK Kaiya Jota. She might go against USYNT u20 top prospect, Stanford sophomore, STARTING GK Caroline Birkel.

Also, Stanford often STARTER FW/Winger, junior, Eleanor Klinger, has been selected for England. Meanwhile, Stanford has two other STARTING players selected for the USYNT, DM Y-Lan Nguyen, and Outside Back Lizzy Boamah.

Maddie DiMaria is the next big deal of young American soccer stars. 3x Gatorade Missouri Player of the Year, and 2x National Gatorade player of the Year. She's headed to UNC this summer (missed the Spring seassions), by skipping her HS senior year. She's the #1 recruit for the TDS 2027 class. The 2026 class includes several pro players, including Ascanio, Pfeiffer, McKeen, Phair, Thompson, and Schmidt. There's a likelihood DiMaria becomes the top ranking player of this class; most sought after in the pros; and first to be invited to a senior NT camp.

She's headed to Japan next week to play for USYNT u17. She played for the u17 squad last year as well.

DiMaria is the type of player that would be invited to the senior NT prior to going pro, in the past. We'll see if she becomes Emma's first non-pro player invited to camp. Previous NT coaches had regularly invited college players to the senior NT camps - Tierna Davidson, Emily Fox, Sophia Wilson, Alanna Cook, Andi Sullivan, Rose Lavelle, Naomi Girma, Sam Mewis, Jaelin Howell, and Emily Sonnett, to name a few.

Does she go pro before she's invited to a senior NT camp? UNC fans just hope she steps on campus next month. UNC already has a number of future pros coming in next month as freshmen. They include Deus Stanislaus, Scotty Antonucci, Sealy Strawn, Cali O'Neil, and Amari Manning.
