The trap for Black People this election will be the Democratic Party pushing that Trump is the only reason to vote. How do we demand political concessions when they know we’re voting against Trump?
reddit.comLet’s talk AI Content. Are you for it or against it?
A lot of Black People, Black Men in particular, have information to share and stories to tell. A lot of you Negroes won’t read it if they did a 1500 word post so the next best thing is them using their words and skills to basically produce videos that without ai would be to expensive to make.
So when we have brothers who create video and tell stories with ai why do we attack each other calling it AI slop all the time? If the substance is there and it’s a good topic what’s wrong with using today’s available technology to do what we need to do to educate?
Building Alliances Series: What do FBA/ADOS Black Men and Afro-Caribbean/African Black Men 100% agree on?
What are some things that neither side would deny is true or should be a common goal.
Building Alliances Series: What do Black Atheist Men and Black Religious/Spiritual Men 100% agree on?
I usually do these by day but I felt like running them at the same time just to keep the conversations going.
The other thread is about sexuality, identifying what both sides of the gay/straight Black Male Community agree on. This thread is about religion. I’m want to see if we see different things in the different threads.
Let’s not talk about what we disagree on, let’s talk about only what we think we absolutely agree on.
Building Alliances Series: What do Black Gay Men and Black Straight Men 100% agree and align on socially and politically?
What social policies matter most to both sides? What are the things that neither side disagrees on. Of course I don’t really mean 100% but let’s go for at least 85%.
What are the policy goals neither side will ever work against?
LGBTQ+ Black Men who choose to become the social & political voice and protectors of Black Women, why do you get upset when you’re left out of Black Men’s social and political conversations?
I see it so often from the LGBTQ+ Black Men. If we are discussing the fact that Black Fathers have no rights to children and how Single Mothers can be a part of the problem with the rise of YN culture then the first line of defense for those single mothers are the childless LGBTQ+ Black Men.
Same with the bonnets conversation, Black Men supported standards for being outside, LGBTQ+ Black Men jumped to the front line asking why were Black Men dictating what women could and could not do.
Same with DEI, white women and Black Women and LGBTQ individuals benefitted from that much more than us. When we said we honestly didn’t gaf they were again the first line of defense saying we should care because of our mothers and daughters, they never have input that helps us attain better rights or privileges, they just constantly say as men we should…
The list goes on and on. No matter what quarrels Black Men may have, the LGBTQ Black Man joins with our counterpart that we date, that we marry, that we have families with and they run to their defense.
But then comes time for Men’s issues. To discuss the things that affect men, and the LGBTQ+ Black Man wants to be included. Mf for what? They’ve not been interested in men’s positions, they don’t advocate for men’s rights, they take the opposing side in men’s arguments. Why try to be a part of men’s conversation? Even when we’re open to it, it’s just like letting a woman into the talks. They parrot the women’s talking points. The are willing to give concessions that don’t involve them. What assistance does a childless man offer Black Men in discussing the issues of the family? None.
Today’s Message at Church: 10 Toes Down
After talking with a bunch of the Atheists in here this week I really appreciated today’s sermon. There was just a lot of focus on how folks that grew up in the church but who saw it as a task not actually taking in anything find themselves on the outside seeking to fill the void with anything other than the Lord.
I noticed in a lot of those chats I had this week that the atheists in this group really were rooted in the church, but they uprooted themselves. They allowed others judgment and church politics and their surroundings to make them comfortable in leaving and abandoning the Lord.
I cuss, i smoke, i sin. The lord is working on me. But I’ll never believe that there is no God.Yall really let yt liberals teach yall that there is no God. Thats wild to me.

Louisiana Republicans remove office after Black Man wins election.
Louisiana Republicans eliminated an elected position days before a Democratic exoneree who overwhelmingly won the New Orleans-based post was set to take office on Monday.
A temporary restraining order did allow Calvin Duncan, the exonerated man, to take office as scheduled on Monday morning as the clerk of New Orleans’ criminal district courthouse. But things soon turned administratively messy for Duncan when that order was frozen by the US fifth circuit court of appeals.
The conservative governor, Jeff Landry, quietly signed legislation abolishing the longstanding New Orleans clerk of criminal court position into law on Thursday, according to Trey Williams, the Louisianasecretary of state spokesperson.
Republicans say wiping away the office is a consolidation effort meant to make the local judicial system more efficient and cut costs. But Democrats describe the change as government overreach – arguing that it infringes on a predominantly Black city’s decision at the polls.
Duncan, who spent nearly 30 years behind bars for a crime he did not commit, easily won election to the criminal court clerk position in November, beating the incumbent and earning more than two-thirds of the vote.
