Does Mill ave’s demographic change in the summer? Or is it just dead?
Title. I’m 31 and moved here to Tempe last November. I like to go out to bars and clubs with my friends. I only live a mile and a half away, so I thought I’d give mill ave a shot.
I’m keenly aware that Tempe is a college town and expected to be a bit older, which is fine because honestly im just out drinking with friends. But holy jeez, I felt like I was at a high school house party. There’s definitely a fake ID problem. Gave it one more shot a month or so later and same deal, so we’ve now defaulted to Scottsdale, which is a bit of a bummer as mill is just so close that walking it is definitely doable.
With all the students away for the summer, I was curious if maybe the demographic changed and the locals were more willing to come out, or if it’s just gonna be dead as a door nail. I know it’ll will be less busy than during the school year for sure, but just to what degree. Thanks in advance!
