Possibly Cracked The Code
86 days ago - first post in another sub saying he opened a $1M short position in AMC. He’s already down $949k at the time he posted his screenshot but he’s still obviously bearish at this point.
77 days in ago - posted screenshot of $986k margin call. He’s obviously freaking out.
31 days ago - first post in this sub saying that AMC will beat earnings expectations the following Monday. He’s obviously bullish at this point. The price is around $2 at this time btw.
15 days ago - price drops from $2.85 on 08/03 to $2.68 on 08/04. Begins his unhinged meltdown posting that continues to this day.
My theory: He got wrecked with the margin call, opened a long position thinking that the stock price would rocket and he’d be able to recoup his short losses but when the price started dropping on 08/04 he realized he might’ve made the 2nd of two catastrophic financial decisions and began trying to extract any possible insight or knowledge from us with all his unhinged ‘Explain it to me!!!’ posts.
