Hi, I’m new to the DCU and I keep seeing the Green Lanterns are weak to the color yellow.

My question is wouldn’t the quickest way to fix anything made out of yellow just wear a colored lens making yellow a different color all together (ie blue frames making the yellow time actually green) and just have the other 2 primary colors in a rotating lens(think like the eye doctor during exams option 1 or 2 type thing). Or if that just not how that works and it is just more fear based?
