For those of you learning Quran on your own, what’s the hardest part?
Assalamu alaikum everyone,
I’m curious to hear from people who are currently learning Quran on their own, without a regular teacher.
What do you find the most difficult?
Is it things like:
-knowing what to study or work on next
-knowing whether you’re making mistakes
-staying consistent
-Tajweed/pronunciation
-memorization and revision
-understanding what you’re reading
-finding the time
-something else?
And if you’ve considered learning with a teacher but decided not to, what made you hesitant?
Was it the cost, finding the right teacher, not wanting a set schedule, feeling uncomfortable being corrected, having a bad experience before, or just preferring to learn independently?
I’m genuinely curious about people’s experiences, so feel free to be honest. I’m not looking to sell anything or promote anything here. Just trying to understand how people approach learning Quran on their own.
JazakAllahu khairan.
