Repair Recommendations - free canoe
I got this canoe for FREE but the owner had no idea what the brand was or what it was made out of. I feel like it’s a noavcraft or something. But I also have no idea if it’s fiberglass or something else. I feel like it’s approx 70-80 pounds and over 20 years old. The inside is in amazing condition, no cracks that go through the canoe or any visible structural damage on the inside. just really really bad cosmetic damage to the point where I don’t know if it’s useable.
I want to repair it and spend the LEAST amount of money and prep it for a canoe trip with my dad.
Whats the best method to repair?
Is it too far gone to repair?
Recorded my first ever canoe trip! (May 15-18th, burnt island loop)
Shoutout to Kevin wild, the baird brothers, and algonquin&beyond on the inspo!
We dealt with one of our friends falling in the water by accident on the first day (5° water)
Shredded food barrels behind a Joe lake campsite
We went on a small bushwack hike behind our site about 10 minutes out and found these barrels. One looked normal until we saw 5-6 small holes in it, and the other was shredded.
Pic of the bear spray is just emphasizing the need for it sometimes (mostly peace of mind)
