Hi there,

I (38F) had my ORIF with six screws and a plate in May after falling down the stairs badly. The healing went well, but since I could neither actively nor passively bend my big toe my surgeon recommended removing the hatdware after three months. Now one week after the second surgery the healing goes well, but I still cannot bend my big toe.

Has anyone made this experience and if so, how long did this stiffness last?

My surgeon is a foot specialist and did not see any mechanic reason in the second operation that would explain this. And I have been doing physiotherapy as well all the time since the fall.
