Third time's the charm!
For the past week I've been trying to get a 10 min set in with the 20kgs, trying to break my last PR of 80 reps. I've been training StrongSport and military snatch and haven't touched LC in a while. I just wanted to see where I'm at. Twice I got in my head this week and quit before the 5 min mark.
Today, despite hearing voices after 4 minutes I broke my last PR by 12 reps, 92 reps total!

I wanted to try some long cycle for a change.
11 working minutes 8-10rpm with double 20's and 24's. I was focusing on confortable rack position.
Last Thursday I hurt my back during this lift. Today everything felt fine and got through the whole 12 minutes.

I took a few days off after injuring my upper back. Testing with a light and long set. No problems.
🟡🟡 Long cycle 2x16kg 10' / 87 reps
Not great, not terrible. PR'd in one lift and pulled my back in another.
Today I tried my first 4' OALC set with a 34kg bell and automatically PR'd with 47 reps. 😉 I'll compete with a 32kg in July and I'm trying to maintain 12+rpm. This gives me hope because I was one rep short maintaining 12rpm with a 34kg.
I was supposed to do a single 12' multi switch snatch set with a 24kg bell keeping 15rpm. Started great with 16rpm. At the end of minute 5 I felt something strange under my right shoulder blade. Nothing painful but a kind of a warning shot. I quit the set and decided to call it a day.
A few moments later my stupid brain wanted to go again. As you can guess I pulled my upper back at 3'45" at rep 58.
Tomorrow will tell how bad it is. Train smart and don't be stupid! Cheers!

I gave the bell time today and actually managed to work with it instead of against it.
A training session that looked nice and simple on paper but turned out to be a struggle from the get go. Weather was too hot, body not ready and mind ready to quit.
I could not hit the prescribed 1' rest periods and had to extend to 1:1 work/rest ratio. The jerk pyramid took me an hour to complete.
10464kg overhead.
Failed the 5' swing snatch set with the 24kg due to shoulder fatigue.
It's not always fresh reps and good technique till the end.
Damn! 12 rpm all the way through. Two weeks ago managed 49 reps with the 28kg. I need a heavier bell. Well. Off to shops!
2x24kg jerks felt heavy today. Last night's wedding gig with the band might have something to do with it.
