Came to see this post on insta and Thought of appreciating the character Dev and the man who portrayed it so well. Men written by Deepak Sundararajan are so special one of the most special one claimed to be green forest but he is more.... Dev.
Kathir the character itself doesn't count as a love interest for Rina. The way she holds his hand in the recent episode reminded me of Rocky Rina bond. She often shows only a friends affection for him. The date offered by Rina she forgets about it and she just don't care to pick up his phone calls.
Going back to Season 1 for her real love interest Arjun story was way different she was fully interested in taking him out even if he had no plan RK sir dinner is a classic example. Even she likes to see Arjun the smile she has from the day one itself when he see him, when Arjun gives her ID card to someone else and leaves she rushes to go to meet him.
And the last episode she holding on to Kathir hand and taking him with her. If it was Arjun I won't thing that will happen in the first place he would have broken the nose of the culprit. She had different level of affection and respect for Arjun that is missing in the Kathir part even they portray him as the new feeling of Rina. He is an updated Rocky version that admires Rina and without the goofy part of Rocky.
Seeing the episode no 12 flipped my view of Arjun as I worried of him being driven into a romantic hero but the episode we saw a man with so much of pain and guilt. Loosing everyone one by one who loves him when he actually gets the chance to love them.
The last episode itself portrays it in a way Rina has Kathir Ganesh Uncle her appa to ask her if she is okay the scene has it but the silent pain Arjun holds on the other end no one to ask him if he is okay. To read him out to talk to him. Only what he gets is the constant love torcher from Madhu to move on.
I am very much impressed by the attitude that he shows towards Madhu as she openly showed him that she loves him and now she wants only friendship. But the refusal he pays to Madhu that she can't be and he can't accept that blows me.
First I thought of Radhi was the only character that was suffering from seeing her in deep trauma but she has Dev to stand by her. But for Arjun as he is in deep pain no one is there to stand for him. I hope Rina jumps to this reality as she openly says in S1 and S2 "She will be there for him".

When I saw it in the series I found this portion interesting as the inner conflicts she had about Arjun. Her possessiveness her love for him in my perspective ! And S3 now has a different tone of it we haven't seen it though hope it turns out good without breaking there connection by literal being happy with some other person !

Come to see this reel and thought about what Arjun is Saying to Rocky about something that Rina doesn't know what could be it? Any guess guys ? Is this any new thing to create rift between Arjun and Rina again!?
