After several days of organizing, I have finally got all my terrain organized and sorted I new their new home! How do you guys store your stuff?

Had my players fight the true BBEG of any campaign. Bureaucracy! The are trapped in the Dwarven Kingdom of Drome and need to collect the forms needed in order to get granted Guild Access so they can get a Workers Visa. Forms i-d10t, 11a-799, 4-10a and dd-214 (iykyk) in hand they completed the quest. I had everything from a rude Brooklyn accented Dwarven receptionist, to a Suave Southern accented Dwarven Artificer for them to navigate. And yes, they dealt with taking a number, waiting in a unbearably slow line, a chatty line "single serving" friend and government employees that took joy in telling you you were missing a signature or a specific endorsement, saying "you'll just have to make an appointment and come back later". They have all decided that Hell does have a 10th layer......

Our first month back up and running!

Today's build: The Tower.

Pro Tip: If using The Tower, put the floor tiles on the table rather than playing inside. The tiles are designed to fit inside but the play area is restricted and the walls are too deep. I put them on the table and often expand them to make more play area. The picture with all the beds is the normal footprint of the tower. The rest are expanded using 4x the 4x4 tiles.

Our party finally pushed deeper into our quest to restore an ancient Master Dwarves' forge... only to discover that the "forge" is actually part of a colossal construct powered by planar energy.

Somehow we've managed to get our hands on the control panel that operates the construct, but there's one small problem:

- Only one party member can read Dwarvish.

- Everyone else has collectively chosen the "press every button and see what happens" strategy.

What could possibly go wrong?

This is also our third session without a long rest, so the party is running on fumes. I've thrown them a couple of homebrew potions to recover spell slots and rages just to keep them moving, but resources are running dangerously low.

We managed to squeeze in one last short rest before climbing the final staircase...

Next week, we find out whether they're ready to face a Shoggoth... or whether this tower is about to become their very expensive tomb.

Wish them luck—they're definitely going to need it. 😂

Lord only knows where all the scatter is from lol. I know there is a couple sets of Halisters Lab and Some stuff from TOA in there.

Had a long day at work and didn't have the time to really fill it in, put up walls or make it pretty. Did have time to dump every mimic/roper mini I own into one room. My party will never trust an inanimate object ever again lol.

It started with the party needing to fire up an infernal engine to cross through one of the hells (A Dwarven Security Measure) before finally reaching the forge of Master Glarasties.

The forge could only be fired by the essence of the 4 elements. After collecting the essence from lesser elementals, the elemental deities accepted the offer and fire it up the Soul Forge. After so many thousands of years though, the complex has lost containment of the Hells. As the forge breathes back to life and the ancient machinations of a long dead Dwarven master come to life to defend his creation.

The floor begins to recede and countless warforged pour in to reestablish containment. When a demon from the Hells begins to corrupt the fledgling AI that has just awoken, the AI core ejects itself to rely on the party to get it to the mainframe. It's last ditch effort to cover their retreat was to awaken Cog, Master Glarasties prized pet Clockwork Dragon.
