Mocha hated me for dressing her up after her bath.

Because Mocha has suuuuchhh a strong love for her mealworms, I have decided to start breeding them as it doesn’t seem too difficult. I’m definitely going to need to pick up a separate bigger container to separate the pupae from the worms and just to give them more space BUT here is the first batch of Pupae!!!!

So I decided to move Mocha from her Bucatstate into a C&C cage and I found this amazing set on Amazon CA for about $110 and I love it! I like this it’s a double layer so she’s higher off the ground so I don’t have to get on my knees are bend all the way over. It came with the wire grids to use around the perimeter and the solid ones for the base and storage, came with the like cage liner and fleece pad for them. I really think I scored with this. Let me know what y’all think.

Also, the cage is equivalent to a regular 4x2 cage with the 12” grids. This set has the bigger grids

Mocha is about to be 10 weeks old and she’s been a little sassy lately due to her quilling 😂 She likes to get her belly and chin rubbed BUT don’t get too comfortable giving her rubs!! Cos she will tell you if you’re doing it wrong 🤣🤣🤣

Hey y’all! Just wanted to know if you guys regularly switch up the layout of your hedgehogs cage after cleanings or if you guys put all the hides, bases and wheels back where they were before you cleaned? I would like to switch up Mocha’s layout after her next cage clean but I’m unsure if it will stress her out 😅🦔

As I was saying!! I’m sorry if y’all are tired of seeing Mocha but having cage cams make it’s soo fun cos now I can wake up and see what she got up to at night!! 🦔❤️🩷

About a week ago I made a post asking what others were using as pet cams and ending up going with the Wyze cam ( I did just order a double pack to get more angles) and I love the camera. Works great, can use MicroSD, subscription is decently priced (IMO) which I don’t believe you NEED the subscription to use the cam and my fav thing about the Wyze v3 is that the camera mount/base is magnetic to I can easily mount it to the metal lid on my cage. Mocha’s fav toy in her playpen is her forage mat. It’s soo fun and cute watching her dig through the fleece for treats and food 🥹🩷 currently watching her potty in the corner of the playpen
