My CX-9 is bugging in a good way…

I realize that my Mazda has a bug that is actually a good bug, to use the auto hold brake and cruise control. You usually always need to have your seatbelt attached or else. It does not work, but for some reason, this has been a week now that my car does not require me to have my seatbelt attached. It’s still rings whenever I don’t attach my seatbelt so that’s not where the issue comes from however, I’m genuinely curious.

The most important part of this glitch is that when I take off and I’m not attached yet (I attach myself within the first 20 seconds of hitting the road) I used to have to remove my hand brake manually regardless of being attached, but now it automatically releases without even being attached just hitting the gas (like the 2024+ 7gen Mazda’s)

I’m on version before the latest one, and I wanted to do the update because I’m having that issue that my Apple CarPlay goes black after going in reverse, but I don’t want this “issue” of the auto hold and cruise to be “fixed”

Any insight on this?

After getting extremely annoyed of alarms not ringing on my 2000$ iPhone 17 Pro, I decided to bust out the iPhone 3GS to use it as an alarm clock.

Two things I’ve realized:

  1. I set the alarm on both phones at 6:45 AM, on a 5 day period the iPhone 17 Pro rang only 3 times where the 3GS is the reason I woke up for work everyday.

  2. I did not charge the iPhone 3GS for 2 weeks which blew my freaking mind. 14 days standby, 7H usage.

HOW CAN THIS EVEN BE POSSIBLE!?
