I’m just curious, has anyone encountered any board games at refuges? If so, which ones?

Hello all, due to availability when booking I had to book Balme (night 2) and Elisabetta (night 3). There will be 5 of us, myself, my boyfriend, my brother and my mom and dad (68 and 69 respectively). I don't think my parents can make this distance and I'm wondering if there's another option for them? I found the shuttle from Les Chapieux to Motetts, but this only shaves ~3 miles and ~1k feet from the day. Are there busses or cars for hire from Chapieux to Courmayeur? Right now I’m thinking bus from Contamines to Courmayeur, but they’d have to back track and miss quite a bit.

Edit: thanks everyone! My boyfriend, partner and I will definitely continue the hike around to Elisabetta via the alternate route.

I think the best option for the parents is to backtrack to Contamines and bus back to Chamonix, transfer busses and then continue to Courmayeur (roughly 3 hours). They will get a nero day on day 3, a zero on day 4 (maybe they can take the gondolas up and around), and we will meet them day 4 in Courmayeur.
