A few photos from my walk home after Sunday dinner. North Yorkshire.

Some photos from South Kilvington, Thirsk, Felixkirk. A little chilly but it warmed up a bit in the afternoon.

Planted a few weeks back. 4 baskets. Petunia and Lobelia mostly. I keep dead-heading any flowers I see to encourage denser growth. They are desperate to get outside, but I will wait another couple of weeks before doing so. We had a touch of frost last night. North Yorkshire.

The video demonstrates the highly annoying squeal. I live in the UK.

I've been attempting to fix this for the past 2 months or so now.

I've been to 2 different mechanics who have done the following:

  • alternator replaced with (i assume) cheap alternator, belts replaced
  • alternator replaced again as it was under warranty
  • alternator replaced again with high quality alternator
  • tensioner bearing greased

Initially the squeal would occur on engine start, now it's squealing when applying acceleration with gears engaged.

The videos were taken on a wet day, but it happens on dry days too.

I'm not knowledgeable when it comes to engines, can anyone give me some pointers to resolve this?
