This is a bit different since I live here...but here goes...In 10 years I've gotten racist abuse 3 times, today was one of those times. I was walking with my wife from the gym, in Budapest Hungary. A group of teenagers rode past on scooters. One kid slowed down looked me in the eye and yelled (in bad English) "f you n-word". I'm grown, and pretty calm...but I am so furious.
I'm guessing this in reference to a Hari Krishna group that meets and dances here. I hope Quan gets this message.
I started working on my Master's degree about a year and a half ago. Back in October ish I started freaking out. I honestly couldn't see writing 40+ pages of anything. But yesterday...my thesis was accepted, all course work is finished. The only thing left is the defense in June. My principal is pleased, he's giving me time off to go. I'm exhausted and so damn happy I finally did this a freaking decade later than I should have....but still so stoked. Just a rant keep scrolling guys.
