Does weight / breed matter for balancing the ratio?

Proud new parent of 7 ducklings, 6 weeks old! I have three female runners and four unsexed calls.

I know it’s a little early to discern sex, but as their voices are coming in and their necks are filling out, I’m getting a sense that I may have two drakes and two hens of the four unsexed calls, which would put my flock at a 2:7 ratio total.

My concern lies within mating habits around the size difference between the breeds... As a friend put it: it’s like a toy poodle trying to mount a lab. I’m worried that if I end up with two drakes, they’ll leave the runner females be and terrorize the two female calls, flock ratio be damned.

Does anybody have experience with this kind of size + sex discrepancy? I’m crossing my fingers that I only have one male call, but we all know how that goes…
