I stumbled upon this comment by u/Federal_Eagle_6565. (Relevant parts below).

And it got me thinking:

• Is this a typical timeline for NRIs, especially those in western countries?
• If yes, why?
•What is your own timeline/experience?

I admit that I messed up and installed some sketchy patch for adobe zii last night. Such a mistake, I’m truly cursing myself! Luckily nothing else has been compromised just yet.

Preliminary search says it’s a ‘cookie attack’ and my browser and probably MacBook is now compromised?

I have super strong passwords, 2FA, even an email alias service, all in Bitwarden with 100s of passwords saved on it. So this truly was a lapse of judgement.

My biggest question now is: does my browser being compromised mean that my Bitwarden is compromised too? I have a Bitwarden firefox add-on, and I’m petrified that my Bitwarden is compromised too?

Should I change my Bitwarden main passphrase? And all accounts in Bitwarden?
