Parke Navy Polka Dot Mockneck! Just a tale of caution. Myself and another Reddit member were scammed by someone in this sub. They said their name was “Michelle” and they convinced us not to use Goods and Services via Venmo. (I know, I know, dumb and against my better judgment.) They pretended they were sending the mockneck and even went as far as to send pictures of it along with “shipping out tonight!”. The next day, Reddit account is deleted and they’ve blocked me on Venmo.

Without the Goods and Services protection, Venmo is requiring a lot of additional steps. I’ve had to file a police report against this person and involve my bank. It’s considered mail fraud/wire fraud to take the money and not ship the item, hence the police report. I added an extra step of reporting to the FBIs internet crime center because I’m pissed and don’t want anyone else to be taken advantage of by this person.

TLDR: don’t buy anything without G+S protection, or buy from Depop/Poshmark/EBay where you have buyer protection.
