Anatomy Resources

Hi all!

After securing a job, I have found out that I will be teaching Freshman Biology and Anatomy. I am going to be a first year teacher, so I plan to focus a lot on my classroom management skills, and want to highlight student engagement.

What are some fun Anatomy activities that you find to keep students engaged?

Hi everyone,

To give a little background to my situation, I am expecting to graduate from my University this Friday, and I have yet to meet my goal of scoring a position before walking across the stage. In my area, it is hard to find teachers to teach STEM education.

I have been to two interviews, one of which I felt as though was a decent interview, everyone was laughing and joking around, and it seemed like good vibes. I get an email from the principal that conducted this interview not 24 hours after the interview took place saying that they were not moving forward with my application. I have yet to hear anything from the other district, but they have since reopened applications.

For those in the job search, what do you do to keep your head up after a rejection? I am truly struggling with my self confidence and questioning if I am an adequate candidate. Any suggestions are appreciated.
