August update

Not much progress, managed to finish one (Blistex classic lip balm) and decided to declutter CT Pillow Talk lipliner mini. It's so dry, I just don't want to do this anymore. Plus the colour is not the best for me. Will give to my 4yo 🤷🏻‍♀️

Project Pan 2025-2026 result + additional pans + NEW Project

slides 1 and 2 are my project Pan journey since circa August/Sept last year. On slide 1 one bonus product (olive soap) which was not put in the plan but I included in the pic. I have put the number of panned products vs the number of products in initial plan. Slide 3 are other pans I managed to finish this year (including one or 2 old ones I found in my drawers when cleaning up, like the super old maybelline one). Slides 4-6 are my new project pan.

products marked with blue marker circle are the carry over from the previous project pan. 4: perfume, 5: all types of skincare + one setting spray , 6: things I forgot to photograph lol aka miscellaneous like SPFs, body balm, perfume and soap.

Out of all these things the only ones I would repurchase are: Vianek face wash (this is my ... i don't know maybe 10th bottle , will repurchase forever, it's gentle for my rosacea), Bandi oil face wash (big white jar) - same, very gentle face wash, removes makeup perfectly. I might consider repurchasing The Ordinary Airgeiline and Sol de Janeiro body butter because I liked this sample but definately not now. Maybe next year when I use up all other creams I have (or in 2 years LOL). The top white face mask was also really nice. I might also consider repurchasing the green colour corrector (I have olive skin and rosacea so I need it, but only once I use up the one I currently have) and get LE foundation in 2.5 as I know now I am fair olive. But only once I use up at least one of my face tints.

Apart from that all the rest was MEH or I HATED IT AND USED IT ON MY BODY/FEET instead of my face.

This is a reminder to myself and everyone here, when you have issues with your face of any kind, make research before you buy. Look for other people with similar issues recs, otherwise you end up with flared up face and product you hate (and end up putting anywhere but your face just to get rid of it).

ALSO HOPES IT MOTIVATES SOMEONE!

POSTING AS WELL TO KEEP MYSELF MOTIVATED WITH MY NEW PROJECT <3 will post update soon

Ancient Maybelline Lipgloss and essence Lip Oil

Maybelline Conor sensational Shine Gloss 130 Fuchsia Flash - WNRP because they no longer make it and it's been years since I saw it on store shelves LOL But in general I liked this product. Panned this many years ago, just found it.

Essence Hydra Kiss Lip Oil 01 Kiss From A Rose - WNRP , I hated the smell of this and how it felt on the lips. It gave a beautiful water-hit-by-sunshine glow effect on the lips but damn I am sure there are better products out there which can create this effect. Bonus minus points for the misleading name for markting purposes - it's a standard lipgloss, not a lip oil! Panned last year and forgot to post.

Panned 3 lip products so far in 2026

Mac Syrup WNRP too cool toned

Maybelline Lifter Gloss (Pearl but made into frankengloss) WNRP hate the smell ( already gave away 2 other lifter glosses I had)

Bourjois Flaming Rose matte lipstick WNRP (used to be my favourite when I was using cool toned foundations but too bright for me now)

My plan for 2026 was 12 lip products. Panned 3 so far.

So last December I laid out all my lip products and counted nearly 60. Decided to pan and declutter as it's too much (I have done project pan in the past but struggled for years to find what colours work for me and to settle on my preferences so that's why I still ended up with so many). I finally know: which colours suit me, which formulas I like, what I hate (eg. strong fragrance), that I am fair muted olive and I can finally know my best choices. so keeping them all did not make sense. I decluttered 6 lip products (gave away to friends and family, binned only one) and chose some for project pan. Some of these colours are meh for me but I can make them work adding Mac Verve on top (it fixes every lip colour for me). All the bright ones I knew I could not fix, are already gone.

I plan to pan at least 12 lip products in 2026 and panned 3 in Q1 but then I kept forgetting to use them and now it's July and no progress in Q2. Some of these are nearly there so for sure I will be able to finish them but not so sure about the others eg

Lipsticks.

Anyway, decided to share to keep myself more accountable and maybe some of you will like the updates on this ;)
