(Yes this is real, no this isn't AI. He's been doing this cosplay for years and a state treasure.)
Look, I know a lot of people are hating on Maryland right now cause we are....enthusiastic about our state. The crab jokes are played out and we get it (although I do love how passionate we are).
With that said, I want to talk about how great the state is to the masses without the played out crab and old bay jokes.
Maryland is a truly diverse state, both culturally and ethnically. The flag itself in all its glory was created post civil war from two fractions (north and south families) and the flag represents our unification and strength along with peace.
We are also truly a mini America when it comes to our landscape. From mountains to freshwater to the ocean, forests to swapland, plateaus to estuarys. All of this can be traveled within several hours! It's a gorgeous states with lots to see.
And let's not forget the cultural impacts we have had. Everything from John waters to the wire and lots more (way to much to list but fellow Marylanders feel free to add below)!
Last but certainly not least, we are the birthplace of the national anthem too!
