Hi Pinball Fans,
A new update has just arrived to Pinball FX VR, bringing 3 new tables, a brand-new VR Arcade level, new features, and bug fixes. As always, thank you to everyone who provided feedback.
New Tables Added
Goat Simulator Pinball
The Princess Bride Pinball
Pacific Rim Pinball
Starting today, we have adjusted the prices of Pinball FX VR Add-ons to support the further release of new content and ongoing game improvements. The adjustment does not affect the price of the base game. Add-ons are now categorized based on the number of tables and licenses included in each offer.

New Features and Improvements
- The VR Arcade now has two levels, one dedicated entirely to Williams tables, and another packed with all the remaining table types.
- An elevator has been added near the Campaign Globe.
- Players can now teleport directly to the elevator from the Palm Menu minimap.
- Campaign games can only be played on the level where the selected table is located. For example, Williams campaigns are only available on the Williams floor.
- The Favorite Table slot is available on both levels and displays the same table in both locations, ensuring quick access to your favorite table at all times. Any table can still be placed there regardless of level.
- If Comet™, Diner™, or Fire!™ were previously placed in Williams rooms, they will automatically move to their new default locations on the Williams floor after updating, as 3 new Williams table slots have been added. These tables can still be moved freely between Williams slots afterward
- Due to the Williams room restructuring, selected wall and floor customizations for those rooms will reset to default settings. All other collectibles (statues, gadgets, posters, etc.) will remain unchanged.
- Tooltips have been added to the Benefit selector when starting campaign games.
- Numerical values are now displayed for all slider-based settings.

Important Information regarding Pinball FX3
Dear Pinball Fans,
As announced in Pinball Bites - Season 4 Episode 2 - Pinball FX3 and its DLCs are now hidden on the PlayStation Store and the Nintendo Switch eShop, meaning they are no longer discoverable for players. If you have the game in your inventory, these changes won’t affect you, as the game will remain in your library.
Players can still expand their table collection through the in-game shop on PlayStation Store. Unfortunately, this option is currently unavailable on Nintendo Switch due to a technical error. We are investigating the situation on the platform.
On Xbox and the Microsoft Store, the game and its DLCs have been removed, so acquiring these titles is no longer possible. If you have the game in your inventory, it remains in your library and is still playable.
We would like to highlight that none of these changes will impact the game’s functionality in any way, and online services will continue to operate in the future.
We understand that this news may be disappointing for players on these platforms, and we truly want to thank you for the support you’ve shown us over the years. We wish you many high scores on your favorite tables!
Pinball Fans,
A new patch is now available for Pinball FX, and Pinball FX VR with 3 new Williams tables, along with exciting new features, optimizations, and a long list of bug fixes.
Thank you all for providing feedback. Get ready for an extensive list!
New DLC Available for Pinball FX (PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch) and Pinball FX VR (Meta Quest)
Williams™ Pinball Volume 10 - Diner™, Fire!™, Comet™
Important Note: World Cup Soccer is no longer available for purchase due to licensing reasons. Players who purchased the table can still play it without interruption. (work in progress on Steam)
Pinball FX
Important Changes
- The Williams™ Pinball Premium Collection has been reworked without World Cup Soccer. The new bundle’s publishing is a work in progress.
New Features and Improvements on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5
- Williams™ Pinball Volume 10 Questline is now available.
- Platform friends are now fully integrated into the game. Players can invite friends to Events and Tournaments and create private tournaments exclusively for platform friends.
- A new Duel mode has been introduced. It is a chain-based challenge where players compete directly against a friend. One player sets a score, the opponent must beat it, and the challenge continues back and forth until one player can no longer surpass the other’s score.
- Players can track their rivalry with detailed Duel statistics, showing who is ahead overall across multiple duels.
- A new Invisible option is available in Profile settings, allowing players to hide their in-game presence from their platform friends list and disable all related features. These interactions are supported by an expanded notification system. Notifications are now split into two categories: Actions and Notifications. The Actions tab contains important messages that require player interaction, while the Notifications tab includes all other updates and information.
- Removed the 999-player cap from unlimited user-generated tournaments, allowing more players to join and submit scores.
- Improved Table Guide readability by increasing font size.
- Improved handling of long player names in Tournament lists to prevent UI overflow issues.
Known Issues on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch
- Empty characters in the Enter Initials screen are saved as '6' on the local leaderboard on the Diner™ table.
- On Williams™ Pinball Volume 10 tables in Hotseat mode, multiple players may share the same color instead of each having a distinct one.
Known Issues on Steam
- Table Awards for Diner™, Fire!™, and Comet™ are unlocking in-game however the system achievements are a work in progress. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working on a fix planned for next week. Unfortunately, these Achievements cannot be granted retroactively, so affected players will need to unlock them again.
Known Issues on PS5
- The in-game trial is currently inaccessible for Williams™ Pinball Volume 10 in the European region. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working on a fix planned for next week. In the meantime, you can download the trial directly from the PSN Store. This issue only affects the trial; the Williams™ Pinball Volume 10 Add-on is accessible without any issues.
Known issues on Epic Games
- In some cases, Duel features may temporarily appear offline, such as missing friends or Duel notifications, even while the player remains online. Restarting the game resolves the issue.
General Fixes

- Fixed an issue where claiming a Grand Tournament reward from a notification did not display the reward popup.
- Fixed the leaderboard percentage indicator, which shows players what top percentage they rank in compared to all participants.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pinball FX VR
Note: For optimal performance on Meta Quest 3, please disable Battery Saver under Settings → General → Device → Power, then restart your headset.
Important Changes
- The Williams™ Pinball Premium Collection is currently being reworked without World Cup Soccer. The new bundle’s publishing is a work in progress.
- The new tables do not have a dedicated room. Due to performance considerations, adding more rooms and cabinets can negatively impact performance, so we need to stay within certain technical limits. Instead, the new tables can be placed in the cabinet slots in any of the existing Williams rooms or in the favorite table slot.
- To make this clearer, a new notification has been added above the entrance to the first Williams room, to the tooltip of the favorite table slot, and to the tooltips of cabinet slots in all Williams rooms. These notifications will remain visible until the new tables have been purchased or until 50 days have passed since their release.
New Features and Improvements
- Added an option to hide the virtual hands while playing on a table. This new option can be found at the bottom of the In-game page in the settings. Please note the following behavior when virtual hands are hidden:
- The virtual hands disappear once a ball is ready to be plunged, or in other words, once a game has actually started on a table.
- Even when the virtual hands are hidden, the plungers on cabinets can still be grabbed to launch balls. Regardless of this option, the hands will always remain visible when a game has ended and the results screen is open, or when the pause menu is displayed.
- Loading progress is now shown as a percentage on the initial loading screen when launching PFX VR and when switching between reality modes.
General Fixes
- Fixed the Random Play news entry so it can consistently launch a random table even when it is the only remaining news entry.
- Pressing the buttons on the sides of cabinets will no longer trigger the flippers. This functionality was originally added to increase immersion, but it caused various bugs that could interfere with gameplay. Please use the controllers to operate the flippers.
Please Note: Due to the table-specific updates listed below, continuing an in-progress Classic, Arcade, or Pro game of the following tables from version 1.7 will no longer be possible due to save-state incompatibility with this patch. This does not affect the achievement, mastery and powerup leveling or campaign progress of these tables:
The Champion Pub™
DOOM™ Pinball
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim™ Pinball
Fallout™ Pinball
Indiana Jones™: The Pinball Adventure
Knight Rider Pinball
Junk Yard™
Theatre of Magic™
Tomb Raider: Secrets of Croft Manor
WHO dunnit™
World Cup Soccer
Xena: Warrior Princess Pinball
Table Fixes
The Champion Pub™
- Fixed an issue where the table would not receive inputs or play music when Start was pressed very quickly after the table finished loading.
Curse of the Mummy
- Fixed an issue where the fade-in effect was missing when exiting the table guide before starting a game, leaving the player in darkness.
DOOM™ Pinball
- Disabled the special camera used during the “To Hell and Back” mode, as it caused dizziness and nausea for some players and also reduced immersion. We will continue monitoring feedback regarding the playability of this mode.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim™ Pinball
- Fixed an issue where the Overencumbered message could appear when selling items, causing the shop controls to freeze.
Fallout™ Pinball
- Fixed an issue where defeating multiple enemies with the Fatman only granted progress for one enemy toward the “Friend or Foe?” mastery.
- Enemies in the Zeta Invaders video mode can now shoot from rows farther back when enemies in front of them are destroyed.
- Fixed an issue where enemy projectiles in the Zeta Invaders mode could spawn too far in front of enemies or always horizontally aligned with the center of the playfield.
Knight Rider Pinball
- Fixed an issue where the flashing red lights during the Defeat K.A.R.R. mode would continue flashing indefinitely if K.A.R.R. was defeated before the lights activated.
- Fixed text overlap issues on the LCD display during the Trust Doesn’t Rust and K.I.T.T. vs K.A.R.R modes.
Junk Yard™
- Fixed floating scores not appearing on the table.
- Fixed the Ball Save powerup not receiving progress when ball save was activated during multiball modes, as intended.
PIN·BOT™
- Fixed an issue where the Skillshot Powerup did not correctly multiply the skillshot score when the table’s Vortex multiplier was also increased.
- Adjusted the left eye saucer eject so the ball consistently drops onto the right flipper, matching the real table.
- Adjusted the colliders on the left ramp to prevent the ball from getting stuck if it rolled back while the ramp was raised.
Williams™ Pinball: Scared Stiff
- Fixed an issue where one of the plunger sound effects could repeatedly play in rapid succession.
- Fixed a minor typo on page 8 of the table guide.
Sky Pirates: Treasures of the Clouds
- Fixed an issue where the final score and Game Over text overlapped on the LCD display at the end of a game.
TAXI™
- Adjusted the Joyride saucer eject to reduce the chance of straight-down-the-middle drains afterward.
Tomb Raider: Secrets of Croft Manor
- Fixed an issue where Manor Frenzy could not be reactivated if it ended during a main or side mode due to a ballout.
- Adjusted the orbit-shot ball save activated while a kickback was already active. This ball save now saves only one ball, instead of remaining active for 60 seconds.
- Fixed the incorrect target counter in the Combat Mastery main mode. It previously counted incorrect target hits only up to 6 instead of 8, as shown on the LCD display.
- Fixed various text overlap issues on the LCD display during the Study Sessions main mode.
- Fixed the positioning of the red arrows on the Manor Frenzy page of the table guide, as they were not pointing to the tops of the inlanes and outlanes.
- Fixed a rare issue where the ball could become stuck on the left side of the bottom bumper while the table was tilted.
Theatre of Magic™
- Fixed an issue where the plunger remained disabled after a stuck ball was returned by the ball search, preventing the ball from being relaunched.
Twilight Zone
- Fixed the version of the playfield clock used when Williams Visual Extras are enabled, as one of the clock hands was missing and the clock face was barely visible.
- Changed the bulb casing to red for the light indicating when the Gumball Machine can be loaded, matching the real table.
WHO dunnit™
- Fixed a rare issue where one ball would fail to launch when multiball was started with the super skillshot.
World Cup Soccer
- Fixed an issue where the Goal Frenzy mastery did not receive the correct progress when scoring goals during certain modes.
- Previously, the Ball Save powerup could be leveled through saved balls on this table. However, this encouraged players trying to max out the powerup to intentionally let balls drain while ball save was active after launching a ball. We felt this went against the spirit of pinball gameplay.
- Additionally, this table had no way to level the Ball Save powerup by activating ball save during gameplay, which is the intended progression method in Pinball FX VR. Because of this, the Ball Save powerup has been disabled on this table.
Xena: Warrior Princess Pinball
- Fixed an issue where, if the Callisto - Revenge mode started immediately alongside the Reunited multiball mode, Xena would fail to throw the additional two balls onto the playfield.
- Fixed an issue where the fade-in effect was missing when exiting the table guide before starting a game, leaving the player in darkness.
- Increased the brightness of the kickback lamps to make it clearer when kickbacks are active.
- Fixed minor mistakes in the German localization of the skillshot and Artifacts of Old mode start instructions shown on the LCD display.
Hi Pinballers,
We are coming in with a huge list of fixes on April 30, so please finish your saved games on the tables mentioned below, as you won’t be able to continue them after the patch.
The Champion Pub™
