Possible plot hole: Code Talker is not in later chronological games despite first appearing in 1984

Is there a lore reason why Hideo Kojima didn’t put Code Talker in the later entries? Did he forget he existed? It would’ve been so cool to see or hear from Code Talker in MGS4, like maybe Solid Snake meets him and Code Talker says “you look almost as old as me” and that’d be really funny and kind of sad I think because Snake wouldn’t actually be that old he’d be like forty or some shit idk

You killed a man who was joyful for his life

You met this man, ecstatic to have been given a second chance at life after experiencing manmade horror, renouncing his past as a criminal, and decided to kill him. He ran up to you excitedly, happy to see another human being not affiliated with the men who could have crucified him, happy to share the news of his new lease on life, and you shot him. Why? Because he was kind of annoying? What kind of sociopath are you? Does your arrogance and entitlement know no bounds? Is there no limit to your self-centered attitude? You read too many comic books because the levels of Hubris on display is sickening. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Do better.

2004 Dynasty Poll

Hey everybody, about three weeks ago I released the mod 2000 Dynasty, going to be updating it in a few days with some quick fixes but I’m still very proud of it, and I hope those who have played it enjoyed it. I’m going to begin work on the next entry in the series over the next week.

Some of you may remember that I did a short series of strawpolls for the Republican nomination for 2000 Dynasty, where Al D’Amato barely clinched it against John McCain. There won’t be a strawpoll for the Democratic or Republican nomination this time around, the nominations for 2004 are what the kids call a canon event, but I AM doing one single straw poll for the Reform Party nomination. Whoever wins will, of course, be fully playable. Link below, poll closes tomorrow at midnight, have fun!

MOD ANNOUNCEMENT: Dynasty: 2000

Good evening, everybody. Some of you may remember about six months back when I held a vote for the Republican nomination for the year 2000 in the universe of my last mod release, Dynasty: 1996. In those votes, Al D'Amato, former Senator and incumbent governor of New York, narrowly won against Sen. John McCain. There's been a bit of radio silence since then, but today I'm happy to officially announce Dynasty: 2000.

https://preview.redd.it/xff1yvlmf3bh1.jpg?width=997&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a8bd306c6920dbc9680f71a84f0d10f78a0d12a2

In this mod, you can play as either President Mario Cuomo, Governor Al D'Amato, or real estate mogul Donald Trump running under the Reform Party banner. I would recommend playing each candidate in that order, but hey, it's your gaming experience, so have fun with it! Both Cuomo and Trump only have one running mate each, but D'Amato has four which can alter the campaign to varying extents. Each candidate has a short soundtrack you can select from, and there are multiple endings you can achieve.

Starting margins. Cuomo leads in most swing states, but can easily falter if he's not careful

Now I know what you're thinking. "Alright wise guy, so when's it coming out?"

That's the best part, you can go and play it now on Campaign Trail Showcase! Enjoy!

Tips for not getting disgustingly dirty during work?

I’ve been an RCA for half a year now working in eastern South Dakota and I feel like no matter what I do, I end every route I cover just completely caked in dust and dirt to the point where all my exposed skin gets a new layer. I rinse my hair every day after work and it’s just a stream of visibly dirty water flowing down. I wear face masks and a hat but that barely helps.

Is there any way to avoid this or is this just going to be my life now for as long as I stay in this craft?
